Please note the Car Share permit is no longer available on the Online Application and Payment Portal. Falmouth Exeter Plus have introduced their own car sharing scheme which is open to all staff and students currently entitled to a standard parking permit. The saving is in the sharing and is a private arrangement between driver and car sharer(s). The car share portal can be accessed via the following link: carshare.fxplus.ac.uk

This depends on your permit type.
If you are a Disabled/Temporary Disablement Permit Holder you may park in any of the disabled bays but also in any designated parking bays within the main car parks (with the exception of reserved visitors parking areas).
If you are a Glasney Long Stay Permit Holder you should only park in car park A or within Glasney Lodge car park.
If you are an Electric Vehicle Holder you may park in car park A or the main car parks.
All other permit types should park in the car parks beyond the main barriers.
Please note that Falmouth Exeter Plus, Falmouth University & University of Exeter staff will no longer be required to upload proof of residence, as the address details from HR Trent will be linked to the online application portal. Agency staff & all students will still be required to attach proof of residence to their online application. Permit types:
Blue Badge Holders: Both sides of your Blue Badge certificate. Please note that all staff & students will be required to upload this documentation.
Agency staff & students living outside the 5 mile radius / Agency staff & students who don’t live on a direct bus route and have to make 1+ more bus changes in order to get to Penryn campus will be required to attach proof of residence to their online application.
Acceptable documentation includes:
• Household utility bill, i.e. gas, electric, water or fixed line telephone (but not a mobile phone bill)
• Driving License Photocard or ‘old style’ driving licence
• Bank, building society or credit card statement
• Local authority tax bill (i.e. council tax) valid for the current year
• Local authority rent book
• Tenancy Agreement but not hand written
• Solicitor’s letter confirming recent house purchase or land registry confirmation
• Tax documents (i.e. tax assessment). It must contain your full name and current address.
Blue badge holders - Chargeable in line with standard parking permit tariff. Concessions apply to blue badge holders who possess a tax disc marked NIL or DISABLED, or use a specially adapted vehicle will avail a free permit.
Students (who do not live in Glasney Village) - £88.20 pa, £7.40 pm
Staff earning less than £10,000 pa - £88.20 pa, £7.40 pm
Staff earning between £10,001 - £20,000 pa - £143.40 pa, £12.00 pm
Staff earning between £20,001 - £40,000 pa - £198.50 pa, £16.60 pm
Staff earning between £40,001 - £50,000 pa - £303.30 pa, £25.30 pm
Staff earning more than £50,000 pa - £385.90 pa, £32.20 pm
Motorcyles –There is an annual fee of £10.50 if parking in dedicated solo motorcycle bays, otherwise standard permit/daily rates apply if parked in a regular parking bay
Environmentally Friendly Vehicles – 50% of relevant standard permit rate. A vehicle is classed as a Green car where it emits 110g of carbon (or less) per kilometre. In addition, vehicles up to 6 years old (first registered on or after 1 October 2010) with carbon emissions up to 120g/km can be reviewed on an individual basis.
Electric Vehicles - £50% of relevant standard permit rate of applicant
For students using the Glasney Students Long Stay Car Park: Term 1: £45.00, Term 2: £45.00, Term 3, £30.00. For further details regarding the Glasney Long Stay parking permit, please refer to the Penryn Campus 2016/17 Car Parking Policy, Sections 1.6 and 9.0.
If you are a Blue Badge Holder
If you live outside of a 5 mile radius of the Penryn Campus
If you live inside of a 5 mile radius but don’t live on a direct bus route and have to make 1+ more bus changes in order to get to Penryn campus
If you drive an Electric Vehicle
If you are a permanent resident of Glasney Village but on a first come first served basis as spaces are limited
If you drive a motorbike
You can apply for parking permits using our online application and payment portal.
The BUD enables any member of staff on essential business to purchase a one-day permit and park in the main car parks (at Penryn Campus).
It can accommodate both planned and unplanned business needs.
Purchasing your BUD:
The first time you purchase a BUD you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org (a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is essential) so you can be registered on the ANPR system.
Please provide the following details in this email: Name, Department, Institution, Date and Time first required, Vehicle Registration, Cost Centre, name of principal Budget Holder and finally, please state which campus your require your BUD for.
Once you’ve registered all your details there will be no need to do anything else for subsequent trips - unless you have a change of vehicle.
The principal Budget Holder will then be given a regular statement of usage to ensure maximum transparency in this process.
Your department will be invoiced monthly retrospectively for your BUD use.
Cancel Your BUD: Please email email@example.com if you need to cancel your BUD (i.e. you’re purchasing an individual permit), confirming the end date.
