A greener campus

We follow and promote the principles of one planet living;
  • minimising our use of non-renewable and scarce natural resources,
  • planning, investing and involving our staff, students and communities in sustainable practices, and
  • providing an education in sustainability relevant to a world threatened by climate change.

About our Nurseries

Welcome to Little Wonders

Our University Nurseries are located in picturesque, vibrant and creative learning environments at the Penryn and Falmouth Campuses.

We provide high quality childcare and education for children up to 5 years, with after school care for children up to 8 years, for the families of staff, students and the local community.

Our vision is to provide exceptionally high quality care and learning where there is a highly sensitive understanding of every child's unique circumstances. This means that care will be tailored to meet children's developing needs and we will seek to ensure parent/carers are always fully included.

Our aim is to support children to make excellent progress in a safe, happy and stimulating environment where all children feel valued and cared for.

Little Wonders - Falmouth

Established in 1991, our Woodlane Day Nursery has an excellent reputation for quality. Situated close to the Falmouth town centre, sub-tropical gardens and beaches, our highly regarded 37 place Falmouth Campus nursery contains three dedicated rooms for children aged 1 to 2 years, 2 to 3 years and 3 to 5 years. Outside there is a pleasant, garden area where we offer a range of physical activities for the children.

Little Wonders - Penryn

On the Penryn Campus, our new 54 place purpose-built Penryn Campus nursery caters for children between 0 to 5 years in three age group rooms: 0 to 2 year olds, 2 to 3 year olds and 3 to 5 year olds. Each room has access to a secure, large, outdoor eco-friendly play and learning area.

The Penryn Campus has an energetic vibe with a strong sense of place, history and community. It is thriving, diverse, creative and full of life with a rich heritage and environment, including beautiful walled gardens, an orchard, an Italian garden and terraces. There are very good public transport links, with a regular bus service and train station nearby.

Up to one hour of free parking is available for parents and carers of children attending the nursery.

With high quality childcare on campus, you'll be able to study and work with peace of mind, knowing that your child is close by, happy and in very safe hands.
