Welcome to the Library Service for Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus. There are two libraries, one at the Penryn Campus and one at the Falmouth Campus, each providing resources relating to the subjects taught and researched on each site. IT facilities and wifi are available at both Libraries.
There is a wide range of resources available, including books, journals, newspapers, DVD's, CDs, a music collection, images, and dissertations. Online resources include e-books, e-journals and electronic databases. These are resources for coursework and assignments and many resources can be used both on and off campus. All Library staff are here to help and the Academic Liaison Librarian responsible for your course offers one-to-one appointments for in-depth subject help.
The collections at each library reflect the subject needs of the courses based at each campus. Falmouth library has material relating to the art and design courses and Penryn library has materials relating to a range of subject areas including biosciences, earth sciences, english, geography, geology, history, politics, media and performance.
The video/DVD collection is located at Penryn and you can access streamed programmes through the library catalogue on and off campus. There is an extensive collection of music scores and parts.
The online library catalogue details all books, videos/DVDs, streamed programmes journals and electronic resources held by the Library across all campuses. You can reserve and renew items, view your own library record and return and pick up items at either of the Cornwall campuses.
