Sustainability Strategies, Governance & Policies

The University of Exeter and Falmouth University both aim to create a healthy, ecologically, economically and socially responsible living and learning environment for all students and staff. This ethos has always been present across the institutions and has been elevated even further following their climate and ecological declarations.

Falmouth Exeter Plus is ultimately the operational delivery service for both universities and is responsible on delivery towards the climate and ecological targets. We therefore recognise  our responsibility towards embedding sustainability further across our day to day operations and work culture.

Since the beginning of 2020, we established a full time sustainability team and refreshed governance program to help elevate and embed sustainability even further across all areas. During this time we have published a new Environment & Climate Emergency Policy as well as new goals and delivery plans across our working groups.
