Walking and Cycling around Falmouth

Walking and cycling is allowed even during national Covid restrictions.

Here are some ideas and links to information on hiking or cycling tracks near our campuses that you may be interested in.

Below are a range of walking tracks around Falmouth and Penryn, from beachside strolls to historic sightseeing around town:

Historic Sites in Falmouth – A really fun and short sightsee when you’re next in Falmouth. As you progress through the town, use this link for some more detailed information on the buildings.

Falmouth to Penryn Country Walk – approximately a four-mile walk (one way).

Pendennis Point to Maenporth Beach Walk – an epic coastal walk to give you some ocean air.

Falmouth to Mylor Harbour Walk – approximately a four-hour walk, take the ferry to Flushing (it’s even running in lockdown) and continue onwards to get some amazing views of Falmouth!

Penryn to Perranwell Walk – take a route inland for a lovely country walk, approximately four miles or so.
