Tuke House

Tuke House is based right in the heart of Falmouth town and is a purpose built residence of 11 three storey blocks set around a central courtyard.

The accommodation comprises of 156 rooms divided mainly into flats of five en-suite bedrooms with a single bed and shared kitchen area. There are a few three bedroom flats. Tuke House is primarily allocated to Falmouth University students.

Tuke House offers an ideal location for those who wish to be close to everything that Falmouth has to offer. The site is a short walk to the Falmouth Campus and is situated close to bus stops with regular buses to the Penryn Campus and Truro; Falmouth Town train station is also a short walk away.

The residence is managed by Sanctuary Students. Their on-site management team are responsible for the maintenance, cleaning and health and safety compliance.

Accessible or adapted rooms

There are a number of rooms that can be adapted for students with additional requirements.  They include the same facilities but may have, for example, grab rails or vibrating pillow alarm. If you have specific requirements for your accommodation please make contact with us as soon as possible so we can discuss your requirements further. Depending on demand, you may be allocated an accessible room without specifically requiring one.

What’s included in the rent?

The heating, lighting and energy bills and internet are included. Personal effects insurance is also provided in the cost of the rent.

The insurance cover is a basic policy and you may wish to extend this cover to ensure all your belongings are covered e.g. laptop, musical instruments, photographic equipment etc. For further information regarding insurance cover please click here.
