Keeping our Campuses Covid-Secure

This advice applies to students and members of staff at our Cornwall campuses.

If you have general questions or concerns about Covid-19:

If you have general questions or concerns about Covid-19, you can contact the Coronavirus Enquiry Line via email - coronavirus@fxplus.ac.uk, or on the phone - 01326 370 402. The line is currently open 09:00 to 17:00 weekdays.

If you have symptoms of Covid-19:

Anyone who develops symptoms of Coronavirus or shares a household with someone who develops symptoms - a persistent cough, fever or a sudden loss of taste or sense of smell - must isolate in line with the Government guidance available on this web page (link is external).

In addition, anyone with symptoms who is a student or staff member at Falmouth University or the University of Exeter, the Students' Union, or FX Plus should:

Call the Rapid Response Team (RRT) on 01326 370 402, or email rapidresponse@fxplus.ac.uk to arrange a test, giving the following details:

  • Full name.
  • Student Number (if applicable).
  • Address.
  • Period of self-isolating - start and end date.
  • Contact telephone number.

Tests need to be carried out in the first five days of having symptoms. It’s best to apply for the test in the first three days as it may take one or two days to arrange. The RRT is available 08:00-18:00 Monday-Friday and 09:00-13:00 Saturday and Sunday.

If you have already had a test with the NHS service, or don't want to use the university's testing service, please notify us at rapidresponse@fxplus.ac.uk
