FX Plus provides a Post Room service to academic and support staff at Penryn Campus between 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, it's a collection and drop-off service located with Contractors Reception, opposite the Exchange.

The Post Room operates a digital parcel tracking system. This system is used to track all packages delivered to and collected from the Post Room and will automatically email recipients to let them their parcel is ready for collection from the Post Room. To assist with collections there are trolleys available to borrow from the Post Room, however, for larger deliveries please let us know in advance so that we can direct delivery drivers to the correct location.
To help ensure post and packages gets to the right person in the right condition it helps to:
Provide senders with your Name, Organisation and Department (e.g. John Smith, FX Plus, Residences and Facilities)
Use the Post Room address for items going to the Post Room, this is: Penryn Campus Post Room, Penryn, Cornwall. TR10 9FE
Provide the sender with the building name for items being delivered directly to a location other than the Post Room and let the Post Room know to send these items directly to this location.
Contact the Post Room (email@example.com or ext 1727) if any special measures need to be considered with deliveries, such as special storage instructions or specific handling requirements. Without this information, packages may end be treated like any other and risk spoiling. We will also respond to specific guidance printed on the outside of packages too.
For items that cannot be moved from the Post Room using the available trolleys, please use the Helpdesk to log a request for the Caretaking Team to move items, however, please try to arrange for large deliveries to go directly to where they need to be to avoid this.
Same day processing of outgoing mail can be done for items brought to the Post Room by 15:30 on weekdays, for large quantity mail shots please do allow longer for this to be done or contact the Post Room to discuss your requirements.
Provide at least 3 working days’ notice for large scale mail outs.
Provide a cost centre or department code to allow franking charges to be applied.
