Renaming our campuses

18 July 2013

The continued growth of the University of Exeter and the recent inauguration of Falmouth University have presented the partnership with an opportunity to reconsider how we present our activities in Cornwall within the context of a competitive Higher Education environment.

To that end, Falmouth University and the University of Exeter have decided to rename the Tremough Campus as the Penryn Campus with immediate effect.

Falmouth University already refers to its Falmouth Campus rather than Woodlane.

The University of Exeter will name the site of its new Medical School at the Royal Cornwall Hospital as its Truro Campus.

Signage and stationery will be replaced gradually as part of the normal cycle of renewal, with arrivals signage being given priority over the summer.

Estates & Development Services will inform the emergency services, local authorities and bus operators etc, and arrange new signage across the Campus in due course.

Please email if you have any further questions about this.
