We are very pleased to announce that following a very competitive recruitment process, we have appointed James Maddocks as the Compass Manager.
James has a marketing degree as well as qualifications in counselling, coaching and NLP. He comes to us following 12 years at Ordnance Survey, where he was a Service Delivery Manager, with responsibility for several front line customer service teams delivering support through telephone and online helpdesks. He also has extensive experience as an internal Executive Coach within the Civil Service, and will bring a continuing interest in coaching to his new role with us.
He joins us at an important time for the Compass service. We have the first phase of Compass Online implementation complete, and the next phases in delivery and active planning. The service has recently been established at Falmouth Campus, and is moving to the Hub at the start of next term.
James will be joining FX Plus on 3 May. There will be a short handover with Steve Hickling, who will return to his role as Senior Student Information Adviser, having completed a very effective period as interim Compass Manager. We would like to thank Steve and welcome James over the next few weeks.
