The refurbishment of our Penryn Campus Koofi café is complete and it has reopened to the public on Monday (10 July). The FX Plus board had a sneak preview last Friday and everyone was really impressed with the new facility.
Costing £250,000, the improvements took 13 weeks to complete and include a large extension providing 30 more seats and improved social space. A new additional coffee machine and new counter will allow exciting new food products alongside the popular Pizza range and reduce queuing time. The menu will continue to develop throughout the year with continually changing special products and promotions.
Tony Sanders, FX Plus Chief Executive, said: “With the support of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, we are continually working to ensure we offer a welcoming campus with high quality service. This is all part of the FX Plus journey to service excellence and developing our range and services of catering and food service, continuing to improve on the experience of our customers who include university students and employees and all the groups and holidaymakers that we host throughout the summer.”
The work was also supported by Falmouth University’s Interior Design Department including some of their first year students who contributed to the innovations for the new look.
