Buses and campus transport information September 2018

11 September 2018

First Kernow’s Winter bus timetables are due to begin on Sunday (16 September) - just in time for the start of our new academic year. This includes the restarting of the Express U3 service between Penryn and Falmouth campuses and late night buses between Falmouth and Penryn.

First has also made improvements, including adding more early evening journeys and the fare between Penryn Campus and Falmouth remains fixed at a discount of £1 each way for all students and employees (just have your ID ready).

This makes bus travel between Falmouth and Penryn a really cheap option.

During the first few weeks of the new academic year peak time buses are likely to be very busy, so please allow extra time for your journey or, if possible, consider travelling at a different time.

Buses are one of a variety of ways of getting to and from our campuses and First works with FalRiver which offers a significantly discounted Fal Mussel Card Uni to students and employees. At £480 for the year this gives free travel on buses throughout Cornwall, the Falmouth to Truro train line (the Maritime Line) and FalRiver ferries.
