Located at the top of the campus, The Environmental Sustainabilitity Institute (ESI) Cafe is a quieter space than the Lower Stannary and, ideal for small meetings or hosting visitors. There is also seasonal outdoor seating for those lovely sunny days.
Fairtrade is important to us which is why we serve Peros espresso based coffees and teas, along with a choice of Fairtrade snacks.
From 11.30am during week days the café serves a wide choice of light meals, snacks and treats; freshly-made salad boxes and toasted tasca paninis; homemade, vegetarian soup, bowl food (think chilli, bolognaise or curry) and jacket potatoes. Local suppliers Rowes and Pipins of Penryn supply the traditional pasties and a range of sandwiches and baguettes. *
Where possible our disposables are environmentally friendly, with disposable cutlery made from cornstarch and packaging that is compostable, biodegradable or recyclable.
The ESI Café is open Monday – Friday 9am til 3pm during term time. Times may vary during vacation times.
* All items subject to availability.
