Evening Meal - Choice of Meat, Vegan and Gluten Free options

Opening Hours

4.45pm – 6.45pm. Catered Halls students need to book a 30 minute time slot between these times.  We operate rotating weekly menus every four weeks - see below.

Week 1 (Week commencing: 7/9, 5/10, 2/11, 30/11)

MONDAY

Slow Burn Chilli - Cornish Beef Or Soya. Both Served with Steamed Rice, Tortilla Chips, Sour Cream or Vegan Yoghurt.

TUESDAY

Wraps - BBQ Pulled Pork Or BBQ Pulled Jackfruit. Both Served with Floured Tortilla Wrap, Potato Wedges, House Slaw & Baby Leaf Salad.

WEDNESDAY

Tikka Masala - Tandoori Roast Chicken & Cauliflower Or Tandoori Roast Cauliflower, Broccoli & Sweet Potato. Both Served with a Fresh Poppadum, Steamed Lemon Rice, Mango Chutney & Tomato & Red Onion Salad.

THURSDAY

Southern Fried Chicken Fillet Burger Or Spicy Bean Burger. Local Soft White Bap, Sliced Tomato, Crispy Salad & Skinny Fries.

FRIDAY

Roast - Butchers Choice of Local Meat Or Vegan Roast. Served with Seasonal Vegetables, Roasties & Rich Red Wine Gravy.

Week 2 (Week commencing: 14/9, 12/10, 9/11, 7/12)

MONDAY

Middle Eastern Spiced Roasted Chicken Or Middle Eastern Spiced Roasted Chickpea Cakes. Served on Traditional Stone baked Khobez Flatbread, Garlic Houmous, Sweet Cous Cous, Pickled Red Cabbage, Crispy Herb Salad, Yoghurt & Mint Dressing.

TUESDAY

Enchiladas - Corn Tortilla Stuffed and Baked in either Chilli Cornish Beef Or 5 Bean Chilli Vegan Style Cheese, Chargrilled Vegetables & Spiced Gravy.

WEDNESDAY

North Africa - Lamb Merguez Sausages Or Cumin & Salted Lemon Falafels served with Crushed Parsnip & Cauliflower and a Puy Lentil Casserole.

THURSDAY

Jerk Seasoned Chicken or Organic Tofu. Fried Rice and Peas & Fiery Jerk Gravy.

FRIDAY

Roast - Butchers Choice of Local Meat Or Vegan Roast Served with Seasonal Vegetables, Roasties & Rich Red Wine Gravy.

Week 3 (Week commencing: 21/9, 19/10, 16/11)

MONDAY

Hunters Chicken - Chicken Breast wrapped in Bacon with BBQ Sauce, Melted Cheddar Or Hunters Mountain Mushroom. Portobello Mushroom Grilled with Garlic Oil & Tofu, Topped with BBQ Sauce. Both Served with Olive Oil Mashed Potato, Local Calabrese & Carrots.

TUESDAY

Lasagne - Cornish Beef Or Soya (constructed with vegan ingredients). Cooked in a Rich Tomato Sauce, Layered with Pasta and Cheese Sauce. Served with Salad & Garlic Bread.

WEDNESDAY

Chargrilled Pork Loin Chop Or Chargrilled Herby Butternut Squash. Both Served with Parsley Mash, Maple & Grain Mustard Sauce, Steamed Broccoli & Carrots.

THURSDAY

Wraps - Mexican Beef Meatballs Or Mexican No Meatballs. Served with Floured Tortilla Wrap, Pickled Vegetables, Mature Cheddar or Vegan Style Cheese & Crispy Leaf Salad

FRIDAY

Roast - Butchers Choice of Local Meat Or Vegan Roast. Served with Seasonal Vegetables, Roasties & Rich Red Wine Gravy. 

Week 4 (Week commencing: 28/9, 26/10, 23/11)

MONDAY

Southern Fried Chicken Fillet Burger Or Spicy Bean Burger. Local Soft White Bap, Sliced Tomato, Crispy Salad & Skinny Fries.

TUESDAY

India - Choose Between Balti Chicken Or Onion & Smoked Tofu Bhajis. Stuffed in a folded Naan Bread with Spiced Masala, Tomato & Red Onion Salad, Yoghurt & Mint Dressing (Vegan alternative available) & Bombay Potato.

WEDNESDAY

Marinated Chicken Wings Or Salt & Pepper Cauliflower Ribs, Banana Blossom Wing, Mac “n” Cheese Fritter Both Served with Ranch Salad & Potato Wedges.

THURSDAY

Crispy Salt & Pepper Chicken Or Crispy Salt & Pepper Tofu. Both served with Black Bean Noodles, Vegetable Spring Roll, Chilli & Garlic Stir fried Broccoli & Prawn Crackers

FRIDAY

Roast - Butchers Choice of Local Meat Or Vegan Roast. Served with Seasonal Vegetables, Roasties & Rich Red Wine Gravy.
