Compass service updates

Please see the below information regarding the latest service updates for The Compass team. We will update this information in accordance with the latest university and Covid-19 guidelines.

When is the Compass re-opening?We are opening the Compass desk at Penryn on Thursday 10th September at 9am and at Falmouth on Monday 14th September at 9am. There will be protective screens and social distancing markers in place, but we are able to offer face to face support.
Can I get my Mussel card from the desk?Mussel cards will now be available to collect from Glasney Lodge. Glasney Lodge is open 24/7 so individuals can collect cards any time.
Can I book a Time to Talk?You can book an online time to talk session with one of the team. This will be a Teams meeting or phone call. Please visit: https://www.fxplus.ac.uk/students/compass/time-talk for further information.
Can I pick up a hardship form (Falmouth students)?All student funding forms are now online, please visit: https://www.falmouth.ac.uk/study/student-funding and complete your forms there. All evidence also needs to be uploaded to the site.
Can I pick up the Doctor’s registration form?This year there is online registration with Penryn Surgery. https://penryn.co.uk/page1.aspx?p=4&t=2 There are two form to complete, but the website guides you through the process.
How do I collect my Exeter unicard?You can collect your card from the help desk at Penryn in the library. Your card will be placed in the hand over area at the desk to maintain social distancing. 
Can I speak to someone if I don’t want to come onto Campus?We are still full operational online, and you can phone, email or live chat with a member of the Student Services team if you are not on campus.
Are the drop ins still running for Falmouth student funding?The student funding drop ins will be online via Teams in the first term. You can book an appointment at https://www.falmouth.ac.uk/study/student-funding
Can I see someone if I need immediate welfare support?

Our Student Support (Living Support and Wellbeing) team will be available to support students on campus and will be based in the library at Penryn from Monday 14th September.
